MESSAGE
During my thirty four years of experiece as an educationalist, I have noticed that one of the most critical decisions for parents is to choose an appropriate school for their children. With this image in mind, I have always supported schools and molded systems to make the environment a bigger home for the children to easily express themselves and their needs in an open door society where they feel that every staff member on board is a family member who listens, cares and is highly concerned.
I would like, on behalf of the school owner, board of trustees, staff and myself to extend heartfelt gratefulness for the parents of our students who have taken the decision to trust our community for their own children.
When I started setting base for the policies, procedures, reglulations and curriculum for Ibrahim International School, I kept the urge in me that I am designing a set up for my own child. To this, I have assured that every single impartment of knowledge, rules, strategies, procedures and skills are in favour of the student. The IIS whole team and myself have thus designed both strong administrative body and an educational curriculum with extra curricular activities that assure that students learn with fun. I have also assured that the teacher acts as a facilitator while the student stands as the main factor in the process.
At Ibrahim International School we all believe that success arises from mistakes and that standing up is a natural result of falling down. This is where we agree that we should elicit information and knowledge from students themselves and help them develop it to an ideal logical situation. We endeavour to motivate our students to be strong thinkers and decision makers who count winnings after losses and who stand upto their principles and humane attributes to make themselves heard and outspoken. We believe in utilizing every single minute the student spends at school to empower his/her skills to the best. And I quote here the famous Poet Rudyard Kipling in his poem “IF”:
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it
And- which is more- you’ll be a Man, my son
